On tap @ MBC. Slightly fruity aroma, pale pinkish color with a hint of cloudiness. Light raspberry flavor without being sickly sweet or cloying. I enjoyed it, but it pales in comparison with another great Michigan raspberry brew, Founders Rubaeus. Still, when my growler of Celis White is gone, I’ll probably get a growler fill of this.

Gold with a white head. Aromas of sugar, raspberry and wheat. Decent on the palate with a raspberry flavor along with wheat and a sugary finish.

12oz bottle. Pours a weird slightly murky translucent pinkish peach color with a medium thick foamy white froth. Big raspberry aroma, but it’s like raspberry hard candy, floral, botanical, creamy vanilla, raspberries and cream. Flavor follows but is way more artificial tasting, lots vanilla that is weird with all the floral notes, potpourri, a bit spicy, plastic, light tart raspberries but mostly overwhelmed by the creamy vanilla. Medium/light bodied, thin with lots of lively carbonation.

Bottle. Lots of vanilla flavor. Minimal aroma of vanilla, and cherry extract. Sweet, but not one I’ll try again.

Sampled at Lundeen’s Brew Ha-Ha 2009. Pours a pink-orange color with a small white head that leave some low amounts of lacing. Aroma has some light grainy notes and raspberry syrup. Flavor has a light clove note, very light malt note and all the rest is raspberry. Very light body with a thin texture and high carbonation. The color of the brew is not really a natural color with the flavor not cloying but is very pronounced of raspberry.

Beautiful fruity raspberry scent. Clear orangy copper in color. Very clean berry taste with a slight malt aftertaste. Overall, it’s not as sweet as I expected... deliciously smooth.

Generally disappointed compared to other raspberry beers. Big malt with little tang or fruit. Others are definitely better.

The only thing fruit-like about this beer is its name. 3.9%ABV, anemic color, and horrid flavor. This is as bad a beer as I’ve had in a long time. Skip this one at all costs.

Bottle, courtesy of Metzger. Light pink pour. Light raspberry, citrus wit nose. Flavor is fruity, almost toying, artifical. Drinkable. Nice deck beer
