A small taster at The Bishop’s Arms, Malmo, 8th Oct 2007. This came across as a very standard witbier. Citrus and wheat aroma and taste, standard witbier appearance and body.

Bottle. Pours a light hazy gold with a small white head. The aroma is gingerbread cookies. The taste is spices, wheat, some citrus, and sweet malts. Really smooth and easy to drink. A thin body. Overall, not a bad beer.

Bottle poured into Hoegaarden tumbler. Remarkably similar to Hoegaarden but slightly less citrus and spice in the flavour and aroma but a little more sour.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Orange hazy. Nose of grapefruit, citrus. Tart taste. Fruits and lemon taste. Some grapefruit and citrus as well. Too sour for my taste. But appreciate a good beer.

Pours light golden and slightly hazy with a fully receding white head. Aroma of citrus, banana, and light spice. Taste is lightly sweet, spicy with a creamy yeasty quality. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with light creaminess and lively carbonation. Enjoyable, but probably wouldn’t buy again.

This is a verey good wit. Had the appearance been up to par it could have been higher. Pour was a murky light gold but no head even after a vigorous pouring. Aroma of lemon and a tad of wheat. Taste was nicely carbonated and picked up hints of wheat, yeast and lemon in the aftertaste. Full flavor for this style. Nicely done.

Aroma of coriander with a bit of citrus and clove. Hazy gold color with a white head that flattened rapidly. Medium in body, brisk in carbonation. The flavor is light stone fruit, coriander, citrus, maybe finishing lightly sweet with citrus peel to balance. Banana seems to be present. Really pleasant to drink.
