Oct 1, 2004 Bottle. Pale yellow color with large white head. Aroma of wheat and yeast. Taste is nicely yeasty with a touch of sour spice. Very nice witbier.

Sep 27, 2004 Draught at Microbar, Battersea. Straw yellow colour. Citrus aroma, perhaps something sweet like honey or caramel also smelt. Tasted lemony, orangey with a hint of something like coriander. Nice refreshing beer.

Sep 9, 2004 Pours a pale straw color with a white fluffy head that leaves fine lacing down the glass. Aroma of orange peel and coriander. In the mouth, a slight tartness, some phenolics, orange peel and dryness in the finish.

Sep 2, 2004 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy, pale yellow colour, with thin-ish white head. Aroma is fresh, citrusy, with melon in there as well, I think. Flavor is sour and citrus and some acidity. Light, with a watery, carbonated, mouthfeel. Not bad.

Sep 1, 2004 Not bad, a very good hot summer quaffer. A little bit bigger mouthfeel than what I was expecting, but not unbalanced. Rich and full of flavor, and very high in acidity and that makes it a good palate cleanser. Clean and crisp and a bit chalky but overall quite enjoyable.

Aug 31, 2004 Updated: Mar 4, 2005One of my favorite beers. There’s not much negative I can say about this except that it tasted far better when it was brewed in Austin. Now it’s too crisp & clean - less flavor. Still it’ll get good marks from me just for old times sake.
