Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a legendary style is not for the timid. Strong, assertively hoppy and dangerously seductive. A skillful blend of three premium barley malts with generous amounts of Northern Brewer and Cascade Hops creates a special ale to satisfy even the most demanding palate.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus and flavor similar along with a slight malt sweetness backing things up. Good hop bitterness up front and a decent balanced mouthfeel for the style. This was a pleasant surprise, although pretty standard for an American IPA. Not elite, but solid nonetheless.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Decent pine and citrus hop aroma with some caramel malts in the background. Flavor is the same with a decent bitter finish that lingers. Suprised and impressed with this brew.

On tap in the middle of the woods. Good generic IPA, not outstanding. Darker than some in color, but could have used more hops.

12 oz. bottle, picked up somewhere in Champaign, IL. Copper/amber colored pour, decent white head. Nice grapefruit aroma and flavor with just a little bit of malt to back it up. Medium mouthfeel. Tasty IPA!

12 oz. bottle from among a bunch of IPA’s courtesy of moejuck! Pours hazy burnt caramel color, with a largish beige head that diminishes rapidly leaving a trace of lacing. Aroma of toffee and ripe fruit, citrus, clover, flowers and evergreen forest floor. Flavor of dusty caramel, with toasty notes, plenty of hops including floral and spruce with a bit of citrus rind in the finish. Medium body and gently assertive carbonation. This is a nice, enjoyable non-west coast IPA! Good on ya Joe!

Cole’s IPA Fest. Citrus hops nose, piney too, Dark amber, a small custard head. Starts a very bitter hit, loads of malt to mellow. Medium bodied, bitter, love the chewy texture. Very good.

Bottle from YourDarkLord. Thanks Edward, I am always up for trying new IPA’s, being the hophead that I am. Pours a deep caramelly amber with nice light beige head. Aroma is very heavy in the malt department, but a decent amount of Cascade hops blend in nicely. Medium bodied with a rich malty texture, getting near imperial territory. Initial flavor of dark caramel, toffee, and wet grains that transitions to a pleasantly sharp hoppy middle. Slight peppery bite on the finish, as well as some very subtle astringency and well water mineral notes. A very nice IPA that not only kicked up the hops, but the malt as well. A pleasant surprise that I would have no problem drinking again.

The draft is a golden color with a small head. The aroma is faint and hoppy. This beer is all bitterness with hops dominating the flavor. It finishes very dry and long. OK, but not a very exciting IPA
