Thanks Edward, I am always up for trying new IPA’s, being the hophead that I am. Pours a deep caramelly amber with nice light beige head. Aroma is very heavy in the malt department, but a decent amount of Cascade hops blend in nicely. Medium bodied with a rich malty texture, getting near imperial territory. Initial flavor of dark caramel, toffee, and wet grains that transitions to a pleasantly sharp hoppy middle. Slight peppery bite on the finish, as well as some very subtle astringency and well water mineral notes. A very nice IPA that not only kicked up the hops, but the malt as well. A pleasant surprise that I would have no problem drinking again. TheShat (131), Lakewood, Ohio, USA

This beer is all bitterness with hops dominating the flavor. It finishes very dry and long. OK, but not a very exciting IPA jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 25, 2007 This one packs a punch. Flavor is lemon-citrus, with strong strong hops. Definite piney-hoppy flavor in there. Finish is a long hoppy bitterness. This one is very strong on the herbal-grassy hops. But at the same time, it doesn’t have the thin weakness that a lot of subpar IPAs have. Solid, but powerful. Radek Kliber (4000), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Medium body is just right. The best of their brews that I have tried. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2007 A pleasant surprise. Didn’t expect much but this delivered. Deep butterscotch body and a cloud of a white head. Usual citrus hop aroma with notes of spice and pine. A light syrupiness in the mouth. Full bodied. Nice hop bitterness in the flavor. Ample hopping on this puts it on the verge of an imperial. Lately I’ve had a few calling themselves imperial IPAs that fell far short. While this doesn’t make that claim, it could get away with it. As I said, a big surprise. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA

Doughy, piney, caramel aroma. Piney, caramel flavor as well with nice bitterness. Med-full body but chalky. Not bad IPA, big malty but still big hop bitterness as well. Almost barley wine in style. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA

Light, murky copper in color. Full palate. The taste is a ton of malt, nutty, with some grassy hops and a very nutty aftertaste. Not bad.
