Poured much darker than i expected, with a small head that dissipated quickly. Good citrus grapefruit hops notes. A light palate than I expected considering the darker color that it poured. Mostly grapefruit flavor with little malts to speak of, a bit too one dimensional for me but not too bad. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 20, 2006 Bottle. Pours golden with a nice head. Nice aromas of hops, flowers and orange. Fairly complex flavors of a hoppy bitterness and a nice fruitiness that end ona flowery note and have a nice lasting finish. This is a rather bold IPA< almost like a West Coast style hop bomb, however with a more nuanced complexity, quite outstanding I might say. joshwilfong (790), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Murky medium orange pour with a farily thick off-white head - looks good. Nice, fresh floral aroma, some sprucey notes. Flavor is hoppy with grapefruity notes and not much else. No real maltiness in this to balance this one out. As a result, the mouthfeel is slighlty stinging. Needs some work. Gift from Aurelius - left over from his "ale in the mail" shipment. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2006 poured a slightly opaque oragne-amber hue with a rich full froathy white head. A mildly piney aroma with citrus notes. A full IPA with nice bittering hop notes and some citrusy notes, a touch of honey and a crisp finish. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Pours a semi-hazy amber with a nice dense head. Wonderful foral aroma with notes of orange, caramel, and pine. Taste starts out with some orange and caramel and ends with some resiny pine, line, graefruit. Crisp finish, Medium body. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Very nice. Reminds me of a mellower HOD Blue Dot..yummm...This is a WOLRD CLASS ipa if i have ever tasted one! swoopjones (1917), Buffalo, New York, USA

A serviceable IPA but tasted like a citrus cold medicine to me. Carbonation a bit aggressive. Peachy clour. No clear hop aroma.Didnt all go together, but would have it again in a bottle if pushed on me.
