Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a legendary style is not for the timid. Strong, assertively hoppy and dangerously seductive. A skillful blend of three premium barley malts with generous amounts of Northern Brewer and Cascade Hops creates a special ale to satisfy even the most demanding palate.

12oz bottle that was a bonus from hopdog. Pours a darker caramel golden color with average head. Nose is biscuit and vegetal with some hints of resin deep down in there. Taste is very malty up front, then into a light piney hops and into a bit of a soapy finish. A bit to malty for my liking in an IPA. Thanks for sending this my way Steve.

Bottled. Bright orange/amber in color. Sweet and fruity aroma with a good amount of hoppiness as well. Good dry spiced hoppiness right up front. Some sweetness. Finish is somewhat bitter.

From Tap, in Growler from MBC. Poured a nice, rich, deep golden and a white medium head. Palate was high in hops, nice bitter crisp after taste. Highly enjoyable.

bottle - Pours lightly hazy copper with a one finger, lingering white head. It has a pleasant aroma dominated by grapefruit accented hops. The flavor is also led by grapefruit hops along with some sweet malt and hints of pine and caramel. It’s medium bodied, well balanced, and overall a very solid IPA.

Bottle. Smells kinda hoppy, bready, malty and a bit floral. I kept putting this off thinking it would be quite bad, but turns out its pretty good. Better than many. Coppery color in the glass with a dissipating head that seems to lace good.. Lacks a little in flavor, as the malt and hops seem to blend a bit too much. Some grapefruit notes with other citrus and floral hints compliment the pine and grass notes ok...Like I said. They seem to mix almost too much and things dont seperate. Finish is a bit biting. salright..but not great. b.d.11/29/08 1438 092

[Bottled at The Rover] Hazy amber with a creamy, white head. Malty, flowery, hoppy aroma. Fresh and a bit sourish flavour with tropical fruits.

Orange amber with fair, creamy tan head / Nose of citrus and sweet malt / Medium body, creamy, some residual sweetness, with balance of malt and hops, and with good, dry finish / Flavors of burnt sugar, orange, fresh, and fresh cut pine / Sweet and fruity, but very nice.

Hazy amber color. An easy Ale, sweetish, a bit soapy, some nice caramel, not much hop, but not bad.
