Apr 7, 2008 Received a growler of this in October and never got around to finding people to share it with until the end of December. I was told it wouldn’t last, but it was great!
It poured thick and dark copper.
The hops wafted up quite strongly.
The hops were definitely apparent in the taste. Although strong, the bite didn’t bring the drinkability down at all. Overall, I enjoyed it and will be looking to pick up another growler when it’s offered.

Mar 21, 2008 Poured a slightly hazed orange-copper color with a medium sized off-white head. Citrus and catty aroma with caramel and candy like malt. The flavor had a citrus start with citrus rind flavor and bitterness at the end. Mild bitterness and medium bodied. Some warmth in the chest.

Feb 27, 2008 sample at MBGWF.....poured a dark orange brown with a thin tan head...aromas of malt and sweeter tropical hops....flavors dominated by malt and sweet sugar. not as much hops in the flavor as one would have liked though.

Jan 9, 2008 Tap. Medium amber body, small white head, hoppy nose. Citric, moderately sweet, hoppy, drinkable, nice. Hide alcohol exceptionally well.

Dec 1, 2007 12 oz bottle from Masonjer. This is a solid beer. Super nice, hoppy nose. Fresh, citrus aroma that is very different than many other IIPA’s. Flavor is super nice. Sweet, but drinkable. Different, but very good.

Nov 20, 2007 Draft at brewery. Poured a ruby amber color. Aroma of nothing but hops. taset is very nice and very hopful.

Nov 2, 2007 Nice orange color poured from a bottle. No label. Smells nice, pine mostly, touch of malt. Flavor is nice citrus, some pine, with a unique malt flavor supporting everything. More malt than I am used to in a DIPA, but they do it well. Nice and thick mouthfeel. One of the best from Michigan Brewing.
