Taste of sweet toasted malt, citrus, toffee/caramel, nuts, spicy/floral hops. Medium bitter and dry finish. American pale ale, but with an english touch.

Medium sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and notes of caramel. Medium bodied with with simple malt character. Finishes with balanced resiny bitterness. Lacks depth in the malt department.

Medium to light-bodied with notes of nuts, milky chocolate, resin and caramel. Low bitterness in the finish with nutty and biscuity undertones.

Jun 2, 2008 Bottle (35 cl) from Systembolaget. The label is says "Mackinac Summer Ale" and states 5.0 % abv, but I assume it is the same beer. Clear amber with a medium fluffy off-white head. Quite bland aroma with some vague nutty and caramelly malts, along with spicy hops. Long bitter finish.
