As it doesn’t go too extreme in any one area it displays excellent balance and is very moorish. Uncomplicated and a great BBQ beer for the summer! nefarious (203), Clarkston, Michigan, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Rather malty/bready aroma with a light citrus whiff. Amber color with a decent beige head. Medium bodied with coarse carbonation. Starts with citrus hop, followed by roasted malt. Turns freshly fruity for a moment, then finishes with tag ends of malt and more than tag ends of bitter. Very refreshing and drinkable. Seems well balanced. gws57 (1151), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Found this one bottled at Lundeen’s in DeKalb, Illinois. Cloudy, dark copper pour with a bubbly off-white head. Mild, citrusy nose with a hint of baked bread and malt. Flavor is balanced and mild, like many amber ales, with a touch bit more floral hops than an amber. This is a very sessionable beer, but a bit too mild for the style. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Pours amber with a white head. I like this ale, with its extra little bit of hops and smooth taste. I tend to make this one a standard "house beer" when I don’t feel like tasting and rating. jt3375 (6), Lansing, Michigan, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 6, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours somewhat amber-dark color. Aroma is more of a malt than hops. Taste is a lighter hops taste. If you want a strong pale ale, this would not be the one. However, for a good local "pale" ale, this is a good bet. Was on sale at Mejier so not bad for the price! Skyview (4111), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2008 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from Warehouse Liquors in Duluth, Minnesota. Pours a semi-hazy orange/amber brew with a thick off-white head that has some good retention and lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, some light multi-grain malt, with a touch of white pepper and some herbal spice. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a good balance of multi-grain malt and some grassy hops. Finish is slightly mild bitter with a light citrus aftertaste that is more prominent than any malt grain flavors. MrChris (110), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Clean malted aroma. Pours sparkling clear, red-orange in color, frothy white head. Small hoppy taste, but decent bitter dry ending. Not an aggressive pale ale. If the typical IPA is too hoppy, consider this pale ale.
