Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Libertyville, Illinois. Deep amber pour with a lacy whilte head, mild rosy nose, good hoppiness, finished bitter but pretty alcoholic, not a bad amber.

Apr 22, 2008 Pour is clear ruddy amber with a thin off white head...smell is lightly hoppy with soap and grapefruit...taste is lightly citric and citricly hoppy...

Jan 14, 2008 Sampler at pub. Oh, yeah: amber colored. Light ale foam still there in the glass. Crystal malt smell with some hoppiness, too. A decent standard amber. The hops show just a little grass and pine, but also some basic noble hop bitterness.

Jul 22, 2007 On tap at the Mickey Finn Brew Pub. Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus and toasted malts. Tastes of caramel and citrus.

Apr 26, 2007 Poured a clear medium caramel with a short white head. Sweet and inviting lightly-toasted caramel in the nose along with some pine hoppage. Sweet caramel again in the flavor with pine and floral accents.. short, tacky finish with decent balance. Almost medium-bodied with a sweet base and moderate bitterness around. Quite nice.
