Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Feb 8, 2008 From the tap this poured a deep & clear reddish-copper body with a modest head, soon reduced to a ring. The aroma was light, toasty malt scents with a mild earthiness. More flavorful, it tasted of toasted malts and a drop of caramel with a light herbal/earthy bitterness to keep it in balance. A crispy, quaffable brew.

redlem (1155), Illinois, USA Nov 8, 2003 Medium caramel color with a small lacing creamy off-white head. Caramel malt aroma and a smokey malt taste. Crisp hop finish is and end to a very nice alt. A little more full bodied than their Oktoberfest.
