Commercial Description:
Our Munich-style dark lager is brewed with traditional German malts to produce a deep ruby red colored beer. Malty, not bitter, this beer has hints of chocolate and caramel-like sweetness that finish clean and refreshing. Served in a 22oz mug, raise your glass and shout Prost!

Clear mahogany with a slight, white film and halo. This beer emits few aromas aside from malted grain and nuttiness which seems to be an integral component to the line-up. Flavor finds a mid-bodied, roasty dunkel with a pleasant linger.

(02.12.06) On tap at Mickey Finns brewpub, Libertyville, IL. 6% ABV. Clear dark brown Munich-style lager having a small white head. No discernable carbonation. Slight malty aroma. Medium-to-full bodied lager that starts with light malt sweetness and light caramel flavor. Finishes dry with light malt and bitterness fade. Smooth and malty. No discernable hop flavor. This is a good drinkable beer.

Root-beer brown, minimal head. Rain-fresh lager aroma, caramel. Malt taste, light body. Little too sweet for me. Average.
