Nose was soft and grainy with some biscuity sweetness.. dusty noble hop accents. Flavor had a sweet biscuity base with moderate, dry bitterness surrounding.. faint head of citrus extends through a short finish.. solid. Light-bodied with rather high carbonation.. tad grainy.. felt and tasted very good for the style. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA

Sampled at the Schlafly "Repeal Of Prohibition" beer festival, I use to like the similiar offering from Schlafly, but these were side by side at festival, and this won out. Lemon honey, light, sweet pale malts and a little spiciness to the nose, the lemon honey returns in the taste giving it a light fruitiness, thin sweet grainy maltiness, and a very soft grassiness, spiciness at the end. The body had the feel of a lite beer. kwoeltje (1333), Manchester, Missouri, USA

Very lagerish flavor. A little diacetyl. Fruity and dry. Not bad, but not overly representative of the style. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Nov 22, 2005 On tap at Mickey Finn’s, Libertyville, IL. Hazy straw colored ale having tiny diminishing white head with no discernable lacing. No discernable aroma and carbonation. Light-to-medium bodied that starts with lightly sweet malty flavor with some grassy and honey hints. Finishes with light hop bitterness. This is a good drinkable beer, but nothing special. I agree with Cornfield in that it’s a tad too sweet.
