Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 18, 2007 They served this lager way too cold, so while I waited for it to warm to proper temperatures, I enjoyed watching the myriad of streams of fast moving bubbles flying through the golden liquid to replenish the foamy white head. When the aroma finally arrived, it had some sweet grainy malts with a sturdy hop bittering, grassy and herbal. The malty sweetness and hop bitterness are fairly evenly matched in the flavor, the latter coming through more solidly towards the finish. Nice.

redlem (1155), Illinois, USA Dec 28, 2006 Served in their tall skinny mug. A dark gold color, medium head. A nice crisp Euro hop aroma. A fairly dry hop taste, light. Not bad, from my notes, better then most bottles of this style but that should be expected. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 24, 2005 Light amber body. Cornflakes, sugar cookie and some noble hops in the aroma. Grainy malt and wheat bran in the flavor along with wet hey musky hops. Cardboardy finish.
