Bottle. Pours a foggy golden-orange with a small white head. The aroma is spicey (pepper) with banana, apple, and pear notes. Flavour is quite spicey - pepper, then some fruitiness. Quite chalky and dry. The alcohol is well masked.

Bottle shared with the regular crew plus MDS, courtesy of Harry. Medium yellow, foamy big white head. Alcohol, malt, wheat (lots), candy in aroma - smells nice and unique. Taste: odd! A ton of alcohol right off the bat, lots of pepper, some apricot, and a lot of wheat malt. Nice, but I’m not sure how balanced it is or how well it really all comes together. But this is what unique one-off anniversary beers should be like: unique, bold and interesting. Full credit to Middle Ages for that.

Bottle shared with blankboy, HogTownHarry, jerc, tupalev & mds - HogTownHarry’s bottle. Light golden-orange with a medium sized head. Nose is very candyish, with notes of fruit, herbs and caramel. Flavour is full and pleasant, with great hop notes, a slight booziness, mild yeastiness, and a dry finish. Certainly one of the best American Wheats I’ve had.

Bottle... Mostly clear yellow ale with a small, frothy, white head. Grainy, fruity aroma with lots of citrus and some mild clove phenols. Good bitterness with lemony, citrus flavor. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Finishes crisp and dry. Thanks to Argo0 for providing the bottle!

22 oz. bottle, courtesy of argo0. Pours a fluffy white head, clear yellow-golden appearance; attractive lacing. Big and hoppy nose, with prominent floral notes. Full mouthfeel, sweet hoppiness, full candy sugar presence, with a long bitter finish, ending in flowers.

Bottle. Golden yellow with a small white head. Interesting aroma, light hops, apricot and a mélange of fruits, muted grapefruit. Dry bitterness lingers with echoes of the fruit. Very dry overall impression, but kind of refreshing at times. Average palate. Quite interesting but does not necessarily make me crave a second glass. 7+/3/7/3/14+

Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc, mds and tupalev, my bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a decent white head. Rich aroma of caramel malt, fruit and candied fruit, with soft wheat and very light floral and vaguely lemony hops - very dry; excellent. The taste shared similar characteristics, malty, but more assertiveness from the floral hops, some yeast and spice character, not as much fruit --- and VERY boozy, oh, yeah. I want to say average body, but who am I kidding - this is THICK for an AmWheat, demonstrably alcholic mouthfeel, also astringent and decently carbonated, with a long, dry moderately bitter finish. I really liked it - hell, compared to 99% of the american wheats, this is a Westy 12. Big ups.
