On tap at the Drafting Room in Sprinhouse. Pours a translucent golden amber with an average foamy white bubbly head. Aroma of citrus hops, very dry hop character, hints of wheat. Aroma of citrus hops up front followed by a light hop bitterness, bordering on an IPA. But lighter and refreshing form the wheat. Very drinkable. Alcohol well hidden with more bitterness as it warmed...very hoppy wheat.

Poured a mostly clear golden orange color with a medium sized off-white head. There was a big citrus and earthy hop aroma with just a slight amoount of their typical house yeast butterscotch. Luckily for me it was mostly covered by all the hops. Some alochol notes as well. Okay not so lucky...the butterscotch gorws as the beer warms. The flavor had both citrus from the hops and citrus from the wheaty malt. Mild bitter finish. Semi-dry. This is an American wheat while the Southern Tier version I just had was definitely German style.

"Poured a gold color nice fluffy head and good lacing. Aroma was grapefruit and very floral. Flavor was much the same with some pine. Had a different flavor that i couldn’t pick up which i didn’t enjoy. "

Good sized white head of fine bubbles. Very good carbonation. Recedes slowly. Light hops and malts. Citrus and lemon, along with some straw and yeast. Color is a golden orange. Dry and slightly bitter palate but with a underlying fruity presence. Some white grape and tangy citrus fruit (grapefruit rind). Pretty good hops presence in the flavor. Nice warming from the alcohol. Kind of chemical(ly) on the back end with a lingering sharp bitterness. Not much of a wheat beer but decent none-the-less.

Golden color, some hues of orange but not much. Great initial head, nice and fluffy, great retention and lacing. The aroma was a blend of pine and grapefruits, some floral notes. The flavor was hard to pick up on wheat notes (need more wheat!!!). Grapefruits and pine also present with detergent/soap underneath. Not all that great, somewhat disappointing in that it didn’t seem American Wheaty to me (light wheat came out a bit more w/ temp, but still subtle). Mouthfeel was moderately carbonated, mouthfeel mild. Snore.

Bottle from DRE. Pours hazy canteloupe pulpy colored orangy golden with a splotchy 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of citrus, fruit including apricot, peach, and some spice and black pepper hints. Tastes citric, with a heavy hop presence coupled with the fruity apricot/peach combo. Medium palate, with a flavor that gets more tart as it warms, even to the point of bone dryness as BBB63 has stated. The fruit remains, but the extreme dryness gets a tad harsh (and hot) at the finish.

Poured a dark golden color with a thick white head. Aroma was strong with hops up front and a spice behind it. Bitter hops hits the taste buds initially follwed by a big dose of wheat, yeast and some bready/banana in there as well. A mellow chewy texture with a bitter finish. Nice brew here.

Dark golden orange with thick white head. Very hoppy aroma light banana, citrusy and yeasty as well which carries into the flavour. Nice hop hit bitters.
