| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 14, 2005 Pours clear dark straw/caramel copper colored, with a 2-finger, fizzy white head. Aromas of honey malt, slight winey vinegar, floral spices, brown sugar. Very unique aroma. The taste was bready honey malt with some hopcit at mid-palate. Nicely balanced with a nice palate liveliness. Gets more hoppy as it warms with hints of that hoppy element found in Wailing Wench. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2005 Golden ale with a thick off white head. Light honey malt but not much in floral hops in aroma. Nice cookie dough malt with restrained bitterness and good citrus notes, lingering in finish. Some nice butterscotch and earthy nuttyness gives this ESB some good character. A lighter ESB fine for summer.
