Commercial Description:
Generous portions of roasted barley, black and chocolate malts which leave "coffee" overtones lingering on the palate. The Nitro Keg version is particularly soft and creamy.

Draft at Which Brew in Easton, PA. Pours black with a creamy brown head. Wonderful aroma of berries and chocolate. Medium to full bodied with a creamy texture. Flavor of dark roast, coffee, berries and spice. Not overly bitter, and finish is slightly acidic. Not bad.

Tap @ Barcade. Poured black with a small off-white head. Roasted malt with a moderate amount of coffee. Mildly sweet flavor roasty but also ashy. Fairly dry and bitter finish.

Tap at Barcade. A little malt astringent at first, that calmed down as the beer warmed, revealing a nice chewy, quite dry stout. The sweet stout classification on this seems wrong to me. A bit chalky, sweaty arm pits, but overall very nice.

Tap at Barcade. Pitch black. Dark brown head. Aroma is quite sweet and plummy, with some dark chocolate, licorice and molasses. Lightly chewy and sweet. Dark maltiness with some fairly strong roastiness, but it’s still fairly sweet. Cocoaish and chocolatey but still quite nice. Slightly rummy as well. It’s pretty nice.

Draft at Barcade. Pours with a creamy tan head that you would think is nitro but its not. Aroma is smoky with chocolate. Flavor us more cocoa with some lacto. a nice coffee and nuttiness rounds it out.

Growler: Clean and malty without alot of roast charactor, lightly chocolatey. Creamy body and very drinkable. Nedds a bit more stoutiness.
