Commercial Description:
Generous portions of roasted barley, black and chocolate malts which leave "coffee" overtones lingering on the palate. The Nitro Keg version is particularly soft and creamy.

Cask at the Pizza Plant. Very dark, medium brown head, creamy and dense. Roasty, some dryness , sweet, a little vinous. A touch thin but very creamy and very drinkable. Quite nice, glad I found it.

buttery mouthfeel. Nice roasted and chocolate malt flavour as opposed to bitter and coffee. Very drinkable. Brewer was coy whether added cocoa.

Growler from the brewery sampled about 3 hours after fill. Weird Aroma. Theres hints of chocolate in there, but the aroma quite metallic. Pour is opaque black with huge light brown head. Metallic taste with a huge bitter coffee roast to finish. I didn’t like their Impy and I’m not a big fan of this either. Too much alcohol presence and slightly too thin to start. Finish is a bit too boozy.

TAP-Deep dack thick beer, wtih a nice chocolaty aroma with moka coffee. Beautiful taste of choclate cake with some stewed fruits, bitterness from choclate malts. Good bodied.

Yes, this beer is "sort and creamy" like it claims to be. Dessert-like and the alcohol isn't too low or too high. Hints of coffee and chocolate, and well-balanced.

The best I've yet had from middle ages - creamy and chocolatey - finish is espresso and sugar - relatively chewy for a sweet stout - still doesn't give me any faith in this brewer.

Tap. Black, tan head. Roasty aroma. Malty lingering malt bitterness. OK brew.

(Draught) On tap at the Blue Tusk in Syracuse. Pours a medium, brown head and opaque body. Nose of coffee and cocoa notes. Slightly bitter cocoa with coffee undertones. Good.
