| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 29, 2004 Growler from the brewery sampled about 3 hours after fill. Weird Aroma. Theres hints of chocolate in there, but the aroma quite metallic. Pour is opaque black with huge light brown head. Metallic taste with a huge bitter coffee roast to finish. I didn’t like their Impy and I’m not a big fan of this either. Too much alcohol presence and slightly too thin to start. Finish is a bit too boozy. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 22, 2004 Yes, this beer is "sort and creamy" like it claims to be. Dessert-like and the alcohol isn't too low or too high. Hints of coffee and chocolate, and well-balanced. notalush (2691), Denver, Colorado, USA
