Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Brown dense head. Roast, light coffee, light sweetness, vanilla and light fruits in the nose. Flavour is roasted and coffeish. Is spiced sweet end fruity. Quite balanced and complex. A bit more on the sweet side if you compare to some of the normal hoppy american impy’s. Quite balanced and complex. Is light roasted and bitter in the end, with some nose alcoholsweetness. Me like.

Bottled. Very dark brown coloured. Chocolate, roasted malts and dark fruits in the aroma. Roasty coffeish flavour with a dry hoppy and roasty finish. Rather mild. Medium bodied.

Large dark brown head of very fine and dense bubbles. Rich and thick foam. Minimal carbonation. Thick sheet of lacing left behind. Nice chocolaty and sweet caramel aroma. Some lactose and honey. Delicious. Color is black. Rich and roasty flavor. Loads of bitter chocolate and some hops presence. Noticable alcohol. Warms the throat and soothes the soul. Medium palate. Finish is creamy with some lingering coffee notes. A very good impy but a little on the sweet side which is fine with me.

Bomber shared with after4ever. Opaque black with a massive and lacy tan head. Full body with minimal carbonation. Coffee, chocolate and oranges in the nose. The taste is like coffee grounds sweetened with molasses and vanilla. A bit of smoke in the finish.

Bomber. Thanks, 46er3498! Jet black. Orangey brown surging moussy head. Falls to a thin layer of filmy mousse. Lots of sticky lace. Chocolate nose. Thick body, light carb. Lots of roast and char and coffee on the mid-palate. Mild finish. Good stuff.

Thanks Jason. The beer pours to a dark brown/black body with a nice dark brown head. The aroma is not that good. Some sort of alcohol, light butterscotch, musky old coffee. The flavor is coffee, light dark chocolate, bitter black malt, something doesn’t seem right. Perhaps it’s the English hops in this one... Bitter decently textured palate.

Dark brown pour, frothy tan head. Fruity chocolate aroma. Maybe some roasty blueberries. Flavor is odd, but good. Dry burnt wood finish. Fruity brown sugar all roasted. Pretty good beer.
