Bottle: Poured a dark black with a nice amount of head. The aroma was roasted malts, dark chocolate and metallic coffee. The flavor was smooth with hints of dark chocolate, coffee, black licorice, and roasted malts. Overall, a tasty brew from Middle Ages, better than their variety pack.

Bomber from Capone’s, iirc, for Game One of the Series. Salty licorice and wonderful dark roast nose, heavy prunes with coffee and chocolate. Some nice, sweet fruity notes. Super nose! Pitch black, soul-sucking black pour with a dark brown head to die for - spoonable, creamy, rocky, and jiggling. Very bitter, extremely dry taste, a touch of astringency toward the end, heavy roast with more than a little ashtray, dark and full. Light prickling hops and licorice, good dark chocolate with faint fruitiness. Nice, brutal impy!

Bottle shared with alexanderj and kleyland at the 4th of July Celebration. Brown color. Medium, light brown head. Smoky, tart flavor. This one seemed a bit off for me.

Thanks to dmeadows on BA for this one. Pours very dark brown with a light mocha head. Aroma of ash, burnt malt, and slight plums. Flavor is very ashy with some fruit, coffee and a lingering roasty, bitter finish. Quite dry for an RIS with a weir lingering fruit flavor after tasting. An average RIS for me.

22 oz. bottle - dark brown with tan head that quickly fades; fresh, fruity soapy aromas; wow, drinks with lots coffee and chocolate not apparent in the aromas; love the flavors, but nose is very weak; slight cream to the body and texture; dry, bitter finish; overall a decent offering, but kind of strange at the same time

22oz bomber via trade with 46er3498, big thanks to Tom. Very dark pour, chocolate head. Nice dark fruit aroma. Flavor is a little harsh, not what I like in an Imp. kind of like raw coffee. Decent.

Pours thick and black like a light grade motor oil. A small 1/8 inch caramel/tan head. Average lacing. Aroma of deep roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. First sip is bittersweet with coffee and chocolate in an unwelcomed battle to be the dominating flavor. Body is surprisingly light considering the 9.5% ABV and how it poured. As a huge fan of the Imperial Stout, this is average at best. Not bad, but there is so much better out there.
