Commercial Description:
An epic barleywine, made in the tradition of British Farmhouse Brewing. Lavished with a velvety blend of six different malts this is a warming beer with a lush mouthfeel. The complexities your discriminating palate will detect are ever changing as this barleywine matures. When young, an assertive hop character predominates and with age the beauty of the big malt balance unfolds.

No head, body is light copper. Aroma is minty, malty, light alcohol. Flavors of alcohol, spices in the palate. Pretty bitter finish with spiciness. Approchable and balanced.

Clear copper on the pour. Aroma big on your average barleywine goodies, caramel, heavy malt, sweetness, light on hop, and hints of dark fruits. Flavor is similar, but felt a little flat. Still enjoyable with all the flavors balancing together quite well though.

Light maltiness and slightly phenolic on the nose. Red,golden and hazy with very little head.Rich and complex, sweet but balanced, dry and long lingering on the finish.

dark ruby red or coppar color. The aroma is incredibly hoppy with some citrus and fruits. Taste is HOPPY! They have certainly dumped loads and loads of hops into this. This is a quite pleasant brew, with a bite in the finish. credit goes to ruffian for bringing this over from the states

Copper with a solid white head. Short retention and pretty good lace. Aroma had citrus, graitfruit, plum and hard liquor I can’t quite put my finger on. Taste had a good citrus and graitfruit kick. Mouthfeel was a bit watery. This is very nice. My particular sample needed some aging.

Pours bright amber with a small white head that has some bubbles mixed in there. Fruity, floral aroma with some alcohol notes. Taste is floral hops, grapefruit and smoooooth all over the place. No trace of the 9.5% anywhere in the taste. Somewhat of a thin body for a barleywine, but other than that, this beer is delicious.

(12oz bottle) Big off-white head atop a clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, caramel, floral, orange, some alcohol. Taste is rich, moderately sweet, grapefruit, caramel, orange, floral. Some alcohol warming in the finish. Sticky medium-full body. Not the biggest barleywine, but certainly a tasty one.

Pours a dark brown body with no head. Aroma is alcoholic with hops, grapefruit, and some darker fruits like plums. Overall a satisfying experience, but nothing legendary.
