Commercial Description:
An epic barleywine, made in the tradition of British Farmhouse Brewing. Lavished with a velvety blend of six different malts this is a warming beer with a lush mouthfeel. The complexities your discriminating palate will detect are ever changing as this barleywine matures. When young, an assertive hop character predominates and with age the beauty of the big malt balance unfolds.

Bottle shared by Hophead22. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a very small off white head. Aroma is citrus hops, sweet caramel, earth and pine. Flavor is very bitter! Lots of piny hops and a good deal of caramel malt. Very full bodied but not particularly thick for the style. Nice medium carbonation. Thanks again for the generosity, Tim!

22oz bottle from phhd, thanks Ethan. Shared with DuffManSW and mspindler. Yellow/orange pour with an off-white head. Slight pineiness with some good malt. Nice bitterness, but a thin malt backbone, pretty good stuff though.

Bomber courtesy of cbkschubert. Some fruit and good barley aromas. Orange body with white wispy head. Flavor has a fruit presence but malted barley is the main focus here. Thick and creamy on the palate. Good brew thanks Craig.

(22oz. bottle, courtesy of thickfreakness) Pours a hazy amber body with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, light florals, cherry, tangerine, and mustiness. Flavor of caramel malt, hops (citrus, pineapple, grass), and light pepper.

Bottle. Just what i was expecting an over hopped barley wine. Pours an amber body with a thin lacing. Viscous with a lot of dark fruity esters, sugar cane, fructose, and caramel malt. The huge hop finish ruined it for me.

Pours a cloudy dark copper with decent head and lacing. Aroma starts with a kick of grapefruit, then finishes with notes of cane sugar and alcohol. Flavor is strangely hoppy for a barleywine, bitterness sticks to the tongue. Not bad, just not what I would expect from the style. Still a decent brew.

22 oz. bottle I bought in Buffalo this Summer - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off white head. No visible carbonation bubbles. The head lasts and leaves light lacing on the way down. Aroma is esters, doughy malt, and light florals. Flavor still has some hop bite to it. Also has esters, malt, and a touch of alcohol in the flavor. The alcohol lingers a tad on the palate. Medium to full body. A nice BW.
