| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 19, 2006 Poured a clear effervescent amber with a large fizzy off-white head. Aroma of orange, butterscotch, and pine needles. Taste is disappointing... dry alcohol, lemon, grass, and dish detergent. Finish is astringently dry and soapy. Body feels a bit too ful for this. Pretty standard "don’t know what we’re doing so we’ll just try to make it really bitter, and who cares if we get some off flavors". Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2006 orange color with with a medium white head. Light citrusy hops in the aroma. A little thin with nothing but traces of citrusy hops and a strong unpleasant aspirin like bitterness. Lingering butter-like flavor. Dissapointing. obxdude10 (1563), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 3, 2006 Huge fluffy & soft off-white head, deep copper color, nose surprisingly full of caramel & malt instead of abrasive hoppiness, there were of course notes of hops in the aroma but the malt was overpowering & dominate, medium body, the front of the flavors were a bit on the thin & watery side, but the hops really showed through toward the end, the hops really punch you in the mouth in the finish, the level of hoppiness there is actually quite overpowering & headed overboard, this is a very aggressive IPA that really shows its muscle toward the end of the body of flavors & in the finish, decent session beer nonetheless

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Bottled. Nice orangey colour and white head, some lacing. Smells great: butterscotch and some grassy hops. Flavour is underwhelming, although the dry finish is sharp and long. Smooth, almost oily body, but a bit thin. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 22, 2006 Dark clear orange, fizzy light tan head. Rich buttery pine, earth , and citric nose that has an underlying sweet toasted caramel and toffee malt tone. Flavor is similar to the above, bitter and buttery, with more toasty sweet malt looking to maintain balance. Medium bodied, zesty carbonation, soft bitter finish. A nice take on the E-IPA... illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2006 Bottle from Premier Gourmet. Very strong sweet caramel aroma. Very dominant malt flavor or caramel, nuts, brown sugar, and british malts. Texture is medium thin. The cascade hops dominate the bitter finish, and is a little too soapy and grassy. Overall, very decent and interesting beer. I just think the finish needs some improvement to make in great it my book. pineypower (1104), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2006 Pours out a nice copper color with not much of a head. Hoppy aroma, not over the top in flavor. Not the best IPA, but definitely not bad redbarista (40), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
