Pours clear, medium orange with a small white head. Nice flowery hop aroma. Flowery and somewhat soapy hop flavors. Not a bad ipa. Definately a hoppy one!

Good solid pale ale. Pours an orangey amber colour with very little head. Nice hoppy aroma and flavour, resiny and citrus. Could use either more malt or over the top hoppiness to stand out. Still quite good.

(12 oz bottle, obtained in trade with jah noth, thanks Dan!) Sure, this is an IPA so there’s plenty of hops in the flavor, but this is still pretty balanced to me, maybe even tipped a bit toward the malty end. The hoppy bitterness has plenty of presence, and the grapefruit quality is unmistakable, especially late, but it is easily balanced by a moderately sweet, toasty maltiness that gradually fades away in the finish. Unlike the flavor, this has a big, malty nose with only a little hoppiness tucked away somewhere in there. Medium bodied, balanced mouthfeel. Light golden color. Off-white head is on the small side, but creamy, and leaves modest lacing. Decent IPA, balanced, flavorful, but just not grabbing me.

Bottle, new to NJ. Clear golden brownish, tanish head. Citrussy grapefruit aroma, and fresh. Boldly hoppy, lots of flavor and bittering hops. Malty underneath, just enough to let you know its there.

Was much better on cask at the Cask House in Syracuse than on-tap at the brewery. Good IPA, dry and bitter. Grapefruit aroma and taste. Lots and lots of Cascade and centenial hops

Medium amber with a fair head. Weak malt aroma, no hops. The flavor is nicely bitter with an even dryness on the tongue. Not heavily hopped, could pass this one off as a Pale Ale.

Pours a two-fingered cream head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Hoppy nose with hints of apricot. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Starts hoppy with some sweetness; finish does not have the intense hoppiness of some IPA’s like Dogfish’s 60 minute. $1.85 for a 12oz bottle from Hoosick Street Discount Bev. Troy, NY.
