Thank you Coldbrewky/Steve for this nice IPA. The color is dark golden and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrussy with a touch of resin, and I recognize the Cascade. The flavour is smooth with a touch of dry citrus, light caramel and sweetness, fruit and a hint of resin. It’s very easy to drink and quite charming. 2470

12 oz bottle from the variety pack. As I’ve said in other reviews of IPAs, I’m not a big fan of the style. I just don’t like my beers that bitter. However I’ve tried enough to know this is a good one. Cloudy amber/orange colore, tight white head that lasts a while, and a sharp bitter edge indicitive of the style. I would recommend this to fans of IPAs.

On tap at the brewery. Good fresh hops in the aroma and flavor. I really didn’t notice anything bad, but I also didn’t notice anything that really jumped out at me aside from the freshness. I’m not sure how this would hold up if I had bought it in a bottle shop after a few weeks on the shelf.

Bottle. Pours a deep pale copper body with nice head. Aroma is of movie theatre popcorn, very buttery with a small amount of citrus hops. Flavor has a syrupy sweet taste, light citrus hops, big malty taste and a very light diactyl taste. Better than I expected.

ILL TELL YOU WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS IPA.... NOTHING. THIS IS A COMPLEX AND TRUE IPA IN IT’S QUALITY MALT CHARACTER AND FLAVOR DOWN TO THE ESSENCE OF PURE HOP GOODNESS. IT IS COMPLEX WITH ALL THE USUAL HOP AND MALT PROFILES OF THE TRULY GREAT BEERS. I AM A HOPHEAD, AND THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL BEER FAR BETTER THAN ANY ORDINARY MASS PRODUCED MICRO. THESE PEOPLE MAKE GREAT BEER AND THIS NORTHEASTERNER IS TRULY PROUD. IT IS QUALITY AND INDICATIVE OF IT’S OWN PERSONALITY REMINICENT OF OREGON SOME 20+ YEARS AGO. SO WELL LAYERED, JUST MARVELOUS!

Small tan head. retention is fair with a nice string of lace stickin around, droopy and sagging. Clear, light copper colored brew, faintly orange. Nose is spicey, inky, citrusy with some bubble gum notes followed by a bit of crystal malt. Body is med/light, lightly coating on the palate with a soft carbonation. Mildly sweet caramel malts backed by light fruity hops, citrus, light pine, lightly metallic notes show as well which gives this brew a bit more oomph i,d say. Finish is fairly dry, fruity, orangey. Somewhat reminiscent of Anchor Liberty Ale, hmmph?A sleeper IPA for me! Props to coldbrewky for this little booger, nice. Thanks Steve!

Orange/ amner color, clear. White soapy head disappears quickly. Weak aroma of hops, citrus and some pine. Taste has quite a bit of hoppy bitterness, particularly on the backside. A bit too carbonated, but a nice IPA.

Bottle from sampler pack. Light orange-brown in color. Quite good. Not much aroma, but has a full, hoppy flavor.
