On tap @ Cole’s. Fresh raspberry aroma, cloudy golden, tiny head. Real raspbery flavour, light bodied, not too sweet. Fine.

On tap at Cole’s. Nice looking amber color, off white head, some haze in the beer. Decent raspberry aroma, light malt. Similar flavor, body is a touch fizzy though so it detracts from enjoying the flavor. Medium bodied. Decent, but really nothing to scream about.

Draught at Cole’s in Buffalo. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with an average size white head. Aroma, well it’s raspberry of course along with some malt -- that’s pretty much it, it’s nice though. The flavour’s the same with a touch of hops. Medium bodied. Winter’s definitely not the time to have this but I still enjoyed it enough.

Draught at Cole’s. Golden yellow, nice sized yellow’ish head, looks good. Pleasant but artificial raspberry aroma. Thin, lightly hopped malt taste. Artificial fruit doesn’t kick in until middle and end. Refreshing but artificial and I had this in totally the wrong season - might seem better in the summer.

Draught. At Cole’s (Buffalo), shared with blankboy and tupalev. Poured hazy amber-gold, average white head. Dry aroma of fresh cut hardwood, stale tart raspberry juice, wheaty grain and maybe a backing of mild witbier - tastes pretty much the same, dry, a bit sour, watery mouthfeel. Didn’t do it for me.

Draft at Sippin by the River ’05. Raspberries work; the wheat is a let down. Still, much potential here, worth a little improvement effort.

After the welcoming aroma of raspberries you are left with an average light, yellow ale. If you don’t care for raspberries then you don’t need to try this beer.
