Oct 11, 2004 Yellow beer with a raspberry jam synthetic aroma. Tart and dry with sweetness coming at the end. Good bodied for a fruit beer.

Apr 26, 2004 TAP NY sample. Standard blonde wheat beer color, minimal nose and flavor, fruity and sweet, light, no hops, etc etc, you've heard it all before I just can't summon up the energy to write something special on this beer that is so NOT special.

Apr 28, 2004 Big raspberry aroma. Clear golden coloured body with thin head. Tasty underlying maltiness supports nice fruity raspberry flavour. Fairly light body and refreshing mouthfeel. Very nicely made. On tap at TapNY festival.

Oct 20, 2007 At the brewery. Not up to Middle Ages long-term track record of very representative styles, I guess this is aimed at the popular crowd. It’s a light-bodied lager with the addition of something raspberry. However it is quite acidic and I would not think that is something the fruit crowd will consider drinkable. Above average gas. This impressed me as an accident at the taps of some second-rate bar, not something to be served up at the brewery itself.

Jan 27, 2006 Draught. At Cole’s (Buffalo), shared with blankboy and tupalev. Poured hazy amber-gold, average white head. Dry aroma of fresh cut hardwood, stale tart raspberry juice, wheaty grain and maybe a backing of mild witbier - tastes pretty much the same, dry, a bit sour, watery mouthfeel. Didn’t do it for me.

Jan 30, 2006 Draught at Cole’s in Buffalo. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with an average size white head. Aroma, well it’s raspberry of course along with some malt -- that’s pretty much it, it’s nice though. The flavour’s the same with a touch of hops. Medium bodied. Winter’s definitely not the time to have this but I still enjoyed it enough.
