Floral and coriander nose with a touch of orange. Flavor is initially a coriander and citrus bite that abruptly turns into a rather watery finish. It’s not a bad beer, but not much depth to it. Smells flowery, little head and no lace. A little citrus. It was ok but really not one of my favorites, but maybe I would have it, if it were warm out. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/20 | Nov 27, 2007 Bottle: The Wit poured a golden yellow with an average amount of head. The aroma was that of clean dish water with lemon scented palmolive soap. The taste wasn’t much different, with a little more citrus in the flavor. I was not a fan of this one. grandet (486), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 9, 2007 Bottle. Yellow-orange with a small white creamy ring of head. The aroma is kind of sweaty with some banana buttery popcorn, and clove. Papery spice flavour that’s also kind of buttery and leathery. Bread and cheesy yeast appear for a quick moment.
I’m really surprised to see this listed as 7.1% as it didn’t mention it on the bottle and I couldn’t taste any alcohol. emobassfoo (178), Webster, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Notes: Light blond colored body with hardly any head; but crystal clear (I like the label art so an extra point for that). Buttery wheat aroma... not much else, but what’s there is pleasant smelling. Tastes like buttered toast with some spices on top! I love the heavy use of imported English ingredients. Another Middle Ages beer that slips down the throat with no provocation. Really easy to drink. Makes me wonder if that 7.1% is accurate... guess I could drink a few in a row and see what happens. Overall, this is yet another great offering from the brewers at Middle Ages, and definitely lived up to its expectations
