WLG423 (42), Connecticut, USA Oct 23, 2009 A nice light fruity aroma with a thin light body. I really enjoyed this beer as a break from dark malty stouts. The flavor had some citrus notes with a nice slightly sour finish. oteyj (713), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA Sep 24, 2009 Amber pour with small white head that dies down rather quickly. Aroma is grainy with some sweet caramel oriented malt facets. Flavor is along similar lines with a sweet caramel malt giving way to a slightly astringent finish. Hop character is moderate with a slight citrus aspect. Palate is medium bodied with some effervescence- not that impressed overall though. BiddleBrau (303), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Aug 30, 2009 lighter amber/golden with quickly disappearing white head. Stale sweet aroma. A bit oxidized, sweet with a bit of hop bitterness. Not a clean tasting beer. mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 18, 2009 [2347-20090731] Tap. Mild grassy grains aroma is a little hoppy. Clear, medium orange brown body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Hoppy grass grains flavour is mildly bitter. Medium body. Average.
(@ Dinosaur BBQ; Syracuse, NY) jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 4, 2009 2009-07-31. Golden amber body with a modest head. Aroma of sweet malt, lightly grainy. Flavour is similar, mild malt and very light bitterness. Bit bland overall. Average palate. On tap at Dinosaur BBQ, Syracuse Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA May 18, 2009 One of my favorites to get in the growlers. Pours gold with a white head. Not much of an aroma but there are some hops there if you look for them. Some hops found in the taste but not too much just enough to make this beer easy to drink and refreshing. Would and have bought again beerbill (1917), Laurel, New York, USA Apr 22, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted until mid-glass and left a layer of foam with each sip. Pleasant aroma of malt and some grassy hops with a hint of sweetness. That hint of sweetness in the aroma is nowhere to be seen in the flavor, which is grainy malt and some astringent hops towards the finish. Dry at he finish as well. A decent beer with no problems. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Mar 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden amber body with a white head. Citric and earthy grassy notes. Apple and caramel accents. Dry and thin, watery, with a hint of paper. eh.
