Brown in color with ruby highlights and a medium off-white head. Aroma of butter and fruit, malty and sweet. Malty and fruity flavor with sweetness and a very thin body.

Deep ruby with a thin tan head. Huge ringwood yeast dominates this beer in every way. Ehhh.

Pourer Beware! Smelled like Coke (the dark brown kind), with a huge, creamy head. Very nice bitter coffe taste that tastes higher than the 6.5% as advertised. This stuff is full flavored with a somewhat addictive quality to it.

This beer poured with a terribly large head - large enough for me to worry that I wouldn’t have much beer left to drink! For middle ages, this beer has a decent chocolate flavor, and the chocolate stays pleasantly on the palate. Again, it’s a little too carbonated. Looks decent, once the foam falls. Mild aroma - some cocoa, some vanilla.

Deep garnet body topped by a small beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, roasty, some scotch, toffee, chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, scotch smokey, some chocolate. Creamy yet watery medium body.

I was suprised at the taste of this, slightly chewy mouth feel with a scotchy cream caramel toffee taste. The scotch is rather strong but the cream starts to come through in the middle and then the toffee and caramel came in near the end. The scotch lingers in the aftertaste and there's a little feeling of warmth. Poured a dark orange brown with a minimal aroma of spice.

deep dark brown to black with a thick foamy moka head. vinous aroma with notes of molasses and butterscotch. In mouth, very nice woody, nutty notes, smokeyness coming in post tatse with the hops and the bitter chocolate. Good body. Raisins coming out as beer warms up.

Dark brownish red, pours a head that cannot be contained - I believe I lost about one third of the beer, it just disappeared into foamy oblivion - inviting aroma of roasted malt and unidentifiable dark fruit - bitterness, lactose - peat smoked malt comes through the chocolate and plays with it pretty well - the alcohol is quite present considering the ABV - not a bad beer, and one of the best I've had by Middle Ages, which, sadly, isn't saying much.
