Apr 7, 2005 Golden-amber colour. Bright. Aroma shows plasticy phenols, hitns of malt, apple and a bit of alcohol. Fairly hot with lots of sticky residual sugars and plastic overtones. Nothing in there to make me want to drink it again.

Jan 4, 2006 (12oz bottle) Hazy amber body topped by small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, pear, orange. Taste is sweet, pear, confectionary sugar, light candi sugar, alcohol burn. Medium-full body. Very disappointing, my least favorite from what otherwise is a decent brewery.

Mar 10, 2006 12oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a deep and slightly hazy orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of oranges, light yeast, caramel, and light spices. Tastes of caramel, fruits, and some alcohol.

Jun 28, 2004 Cloudy light amber, 1cm off-white head. Mostly floral aroma with mint and leather notes. Alcool undertones carry the fruitiness into the rear of the nose (pears, dried apricots, peaches). In mouth, it feels pretty stale, not really evolving from the beginning to the end. It’s quite alcoholic. Light dusty yeast make it feel belgian enough, but it remains unbalanced despite the balancing effort with the grassy goldings hops. Great mouthfeel though, very smooth.

Jan 4, 2004 Pours a hazy orange with a thin white whispy head. Sweet caramel malty aroma with some Belgian yeast present. Sweet butterscotch start turns to an abrasive peppery alcohol finish. Subtle complexity throughout. This definitely needs some more balance and to hide its alcohol better.

Very hazy, deep golden ale. The frothy, off-white head lasts forever.
Very nice aroma! Buttery and lightly alcoholic with notes of caramel and overripe apples.
The flavor is astringent and of warm alcohol, citrus fruit, overripe apples and caramel. This one becomes more tart as it warms.
Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Dry, bitter, grassy finish.
World class brew! Underrated!

Jul 7, 2004 Sweet peaches interact with clover honey but are clobbered by loads of unpleasant alcohol heat...Body presents beautiful curves and amplitude on the tongue but sadly cannot infuse any new flavors...A roughly-sewn bed sheet with holes of carelessness and biting threads...Thanks CapFlu!!...
