bottle: pours a dark chestnut brown with a large off white head. aroma is a very sticky toffee malt with some buttery burnt sugar and a kind of putting of spice. no hops. flavour is a burnt toffee malt that is very warming a little bit of spice and a n off flavour that stays on the palate. i dont knbow if this is a bad bottle or what, but it is not very good.

Bomber: Normal pour yeilds a brownish amber with a frothy yeasty head. Nose is rounded leaf hops. Body is pretty much hops. Finish is pretty much hops. Thick quaff rings of lacing that build upon themselves and must be scaped from glass after beer is consumed. Woo Hoo. This should kill any internal parasites you may have. Grapefruit and key lime. A bare thin line of dicernable malt makes the body...out of body. 8%? you’re kiddin! A good one.

22 oz’er. Poured a deep mahogoney reddish-brown with a big, thick and juicy head of airy foam. The aroma is bountiful ... hinting at a hoppy stew of malty goodness. And that’s what this beer is ... a nice robust and meaty glass of good ol’ beer. This comes across first as a deeply roasty medium amber brew. But then the stark hoppiness strikes your palate, fruity and delicious. Exceptionally well made brew. (#3150, 10/21/2007)

Some caramel and grain comes through. Underlying apricot and licorice feel. Full bodied with a dry texture and an average carbonation. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Kramer17801. Clear, amber golden with a tall, handsome and lively, beige head leaving some laces. Fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body, fruity accents and a very dry and astrigently, bitter finish. 280907
