Oct 24, 2006 Drank this bottle with Duane right after drinking a bottle of Stone 10th Anniversary. Dark pour with little head. Nice hop profile with some malt to back it up, but after the Stone 10th the amount of malt in this one didn’t really compare, nor did the mouthfeel. Plenty of hop bite in this one though.

Oct 24, 2006 bomber courtesy of OhioDad, thanks Scott. pours a very dark brown for an IIPA. extremely floral and pine aroma with more of the same in the flavor profile. caramel sweetness tends to hide in the background and the finish is more bitter than I would have liked. drank this one immediately after the Stone 10th, so its probably not a fair rating to this Wailing Wench.

Oct 16, 2006 Clear walnut brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is all hops; big fruity, spicy, floral and resiny pine. pine and sweet citrus flavors up front with a nice malt backing. finish is long and bitter with a bit of alcohol burn. Full bodied and nicely carbonated. A good IIPA.

Oct 11, 2006 Clear bronze appearance; large, foamy off white head with lots of lacing. Resinous, piney, citrusy aroma with a touch of spice to round out the nose. Mostly a hop showcase but with enough of a malt backbone to lend a semblance of balance. Mild metallic taste near the finish with a lingering alcohol burn.

Oct 7, 2006 Man,first intial taste brings out all kinds of florar fruits. I had to look at the bottle to see what I was drinking. This bottle was more fruity and had a funky cough medicine finish, different from most other IIPA’s I have had for sure.

Oct 3, 2006 A very enjoyable dark golden beer with a good head content. Aroma of a floral garden of hops. Flavour is the hop bittter and light malts. Very nicely balanced on the palate.

Sep 30, 2006 The label say "Screaming with hops" and they mean it. Dark copper color with a giant bouquet of hops. Full bodied and full flavored. Piney and bitter hop flavor with a bit of malt backing it up. The bitterness stays with you throughout the entire bottle. Very enjoyable for the hop lover. I would rate it even higher with a tiny bit more malt to balance it out, but a great 2IPA nonetheless.
