Ruby colored body with minimal head. Musky aroma, cheddar cheese, light fruits. Excellent taste, bitter, flowery, spicy with some honey. Spices are prevalent in the ending.

Clear ruby amber colour with a fine mist of head. Smells like wood and cigarette ashes, very hoppy. Some bread tones. A nice balance of wood and bread flavours.

Dark ruby. Small, dense, tan head. Sharp, venomous, resinous, herbal, floral, piney hops on top of plenty of toasty malt support. Medium/full, balanced palate. Definitely screaming with hops.

Bottle. Deep mahogamy color with a thick brown head. Aroma is hop, hop and more hops, citrus, floral, cookies and caramel. Taste is dominated by hops, with citrus notes from the cascade and floral, it is not a well balanced IPA, but maltiness is definitely there, with some caramel and earthy notes. There is a long bitter aftertaste. As a lupomaniac, I love this one.

This bottled brew from Indianapolis, IN poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that left behind a transparent uncarbonated brown colored body. The aroma was very unhoppy for a double IPA and mostly malty. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish. The flavor was though hoppy and yet surprisingly smooth.

22 oz bottle, via rudolf. Pours a clear dark mahogany under a craggy and creamy beige head. No sediment in bottle. Aroma is thick with resiny and piney hops over a sturdy caramel malt base. Flavor is very bitter with an earthy piney hop foreground and an alcoholic grapefruity finish. Not a whole lot of complexity, just big and bitter. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low soft carbonation. Slightly sticky and cloying on the finish. Overall, just another massivly bitter IIPA. OK, but nothing stand-out.

Lucrative translucent and rusty brass in color with an admirable, dense and tannish-red foam for the head. Aroma strives forward with brandied apricots, puce grapefruit rind, mandarin fruit cobbler, sappy maplewood and honeydew in liquefied brown sugar. Citric caramel toffee flavor lays in with a touch of cocoa dust. Breezy, sticky grapefruit permeates the wiggly, sweet, buttery poppycock. Seeps in with a fruity amaretto bitterness and parleys with a red rye component. Performs progressive palate acupuncture with pin pricks on the tongue. It’s a building bitterness amidst pralines and creamy caramel ribbons. Dry enzymes piano tap the tonsils while amaretto saturated graham crackers hum along with the wench’s bitter tendencies. Thanks for the bomber, tpkenned!
