(Bottle courtesy of Jah Noth and split with Milkman Dan) Reddish copper color topped with a thick, off white head. Sticky lace. Big aromas here. Lots of carmel malts, fruit, and some sweet bready notes. Rich mouthfeel. Malty initially with some of the fruit promised in the nose, then turning dry and bitter. Quite a nice big beer.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a beautiful ruby red color with a creamy tan head. Super aromatic with lots of fruit. Taste is completely different. This brew is hops on acid! Extremely bitter with a heavy alcohol burn. Leaves a very dry aftertaste. Still, a fun brew to try. And you’ve gotta love the name and the label.

Verre de dégustation (provenant d’un fût) au Belgium Comes to Cooperstown 2005 (Cooperstown, NY). Arôme: Arôme de caramel au beurre. Apparence: Couleur brune rougeâtre. Mince col crémeux. Aucune bulle. Large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel avec une touche de brulé. Palette: Le corps est plein et la texture est huileuse. Arrière goût de caramel. 22oz bomber obtained in a trade from Sregnar35 - Thanks Bill - Pours a deep copper color with a big tan creamy head. Aroma of citrus grapefruits over toasted malts. Flavor is malty sweet fruity with grapefruit and cherries and even a hint of vanilla. A bit of a rye flavor comes through too. On the palate this is full bodied with a nice bitter hop finish. The picture on the bottle is cool too. A solid brew.

More of a barleywine to be. Tasted a bit like Arrogant Bastard and not as much like an IPA. Color was like Celebration Ale and taste was like a cross between that and Bigfoot.

Bottle, poured amber with a white head. Sweet nose with some fruit and lots of hops. The taste had some bread and the hops were ok.

On Tap at Blue Tusk, Syracuse. This is a nice effort at an IPA2; though the bitterness has a bit of a sharpness to it, the hopping is pretty complex; of course it’s an iipa, but the malt body is overly subservient, with some bready and doughy notes; basically it’s flavorful, but tame iipa.

Bottle, from Frank, the R.I. distributor. Good nose, Sweet. Buttery, rootbeer, pine/evergreen, honey, peachy, got alittle banana as it warmed. Nice clean orangy brown color, though it was a great red color when I held it up to my kitchen spot light, nice head that faded to a ring. Sweet flavors, Buttery, like the aromas. Something familiar about this. Medium body, sweet creamy mouthfeel, bitter sweet finish, Nice brew, gives me a McNeills Deadhorse flashback with the buttery thing. hanks Frank.
