Bomber poured a clear dark amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, light pine and light orange zest. Palate was full bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, pine, light orange zest and a hint of grapefruit with a smooth lingering earthy bitter finish.

A nice malty well balanced DIPA!

Courtesy of tpd975. Pours crystal clear amber with copper edges and tan head. The aroma is malty and brash with caramel, sweet chewy sticky malts, crystal malts, pine hops and a hint of fruity esters. Man, this smells good. A very satisfying group of aromatics. The tasty bold flavor starts with a sweet rich load of dark fruity esters of dark grapes, prunes and plums. Then a thick blanket of both chewy sweet maltiness and roasted malts enters and rides along for a while. Bringing the flavor full circle is a solid pine hop bitterness. Good god this is tasty. I can drink this all the time.

Bottle courtesy of tpd975. Pours a clear deep amber with a one finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel with spicy floral hops and a touch of alcohol. TAste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and smooth alcohol. Very good.

Aroma, just jumps from the glass. It’s well full of hops, with a bouquet of different hops, some grapefruit, and some pine. It’s appearance is dark copper, with a white head. It’s flavor is extremely well-balanced. It’s bursting with hops, but well-balanced and lending well to it’s malt content. It’s easy to drink, not to astringent, or to aggressive. Easily 2-3 in the bag for me.

Bottle: Poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was that of hops, strong hops. The flavor was piney, hoppy and spicy. Overall, a decent beer.

Bottle in trade courtesy of DIM. Thanks!
Pours a rich amber color with a whitish head. Smell is a bit of a buttery diacetyl with some red ale like malt and hops behind it. Buttery and sharp hops, at the same time. Definitely a diacetyl like flavor standing out to me. Like a strong red ale to me, more than a DIPA. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Perhaps not the freshest bottle, but I don’t know.

Pours darker than most dipas with a large head. Hops/malt sweetness present in the flavor. Thick rich palate which is nice. A really good DIPA but the hop flavor is no match for a hopslam or a dreadnaught but a very drinkable beer. Definitely one of the better dipas out there.

22 oz- Snifter. Pours dark reddish ruby with one finger beige head. Aromas extremely powerful- lots of piney hops with a dash of malt as well. Flavor is quite harsh but overly so. High alpha acid count with lots of piney and citrus bitterness. Not overly complex- just blastingly hoppy. Palate is tingling but smooths out to a nice dry finish. Decent but not spectacular.
