Thanks to hoplover406 for this. Shared with Ian and Deanna. Pours a slightly dark amber with a thick tan head. Big citrus pine aroma with a little bit of malt. Taste is grapefruit, pine, balanced with lots of sweet malt. Might be just a shade thinner than I like. Taste finishes dry and citrus like with a hop bitterness. Very tasty.

Really kick ass little brew here. It had everything that I look for in an American Strong.. sweet malts, a little earthiness and funkiness, and a blast of hops at the end. This brew has grabbed a spot on my top 3 American Strongs. I finished this bomber in record time.

Golden amber with a big, foamy white head. Aroma of citrus hops, caramel, pine. Flavor was crisp and clean with a nice hops bitterness. An IPA, yes, but didn’t seem to be an imperial/double.

my st patricks day wench, the darkest double Ipa I have ever seen. I believe I liked more on tap, still sexy out of the bottle. has a more earthy aroma than most hops or sweetness. lasting head, a decent beer well worth drinking just nothing way too awesome

From bottle. Love the name of this beer. anyway lets move on. Scenty aroma, elderflower? and fruit. Fantastic deep copper colour with a good head. Bitter flavour and very hoppy, first I get an awesome scented flavour, followed by zest ,finished with which I found an unpleasant tang. From the start I didn’t like this beer, but it grew on me and by the time I finished it off I bloody loved the Wailing Wench.

12 fl oz bottle. Reddish dark copper colour. Tall off-white head that clings to the glass. Rich rounded malts and a huge hoppy aroma. Piney and grassy aroma. Strong hoppy flavours balanced by a rich maltiness. Medium-bodied. Very rich and very hoppy.

Bottle. Poured with a great thick and frothy off white-tan head. very long lasting. In the nose was : citrus and hops. Flavour was strong hops, and citrus. The finish being a bit on the bitter side, which I enjoy for this syle.

Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with an inch of fluffy head into the tulip. A very balanced beer with citrusy hops and a nice malty backbone. There are some earthy, grassy flavors in the finish. A drinkable, middle of the road ASA.
