22 oz bottle from the brewery. The pour starts clear but ends up a hazy (bottled conditioned) orange with a very big fluffy off white head and lots of sticky lacing. Big aroma; Pac NW citrus hops, funky brett, sweet caramel, earthy yeast and a bit of wood and alcohol. The flavor is mostly bitter and sour with just a touch of sweetness, no alcohol taste. Medium body with very active carbonation and a dry dusty finish. This is a very interesting beer, the malt is low compared to most IIPA’s and the brett does something strange to this but in a good way. I’m interested to see how this does with a bit of age on it.
