Commercial Description:
Inspired by local artist & roaster Michael Allen's eccentricly-named blend of coffee beans, Midnight Sun's brewers designed a beer recipe and infusion process that perfectly captures the alluring aroma, satisfying flavor and curious legend of Allen's Arctic Rhino Coffee. Arctic Rhino Coffee Porter combines two quintessential Pacific Northwest favorites: coffee and ale. The result is wonderfully romantic and robust--a duel-fueled porter that melds charismatic dark malt with freshly roasted coffee beans. The (un)rest is up to you.

Thanks to whoever shared @ ogglethorp’s. Aroma of roasted coffee and chocolate malts. More carbonated than I expected, with roasted malts lingering on the palate with a tinge of something tart. Interesting, but not fantastic.

Smells of ground roasted dark coffee. Black as night with a decent tan head. Thinner body. Dark and roasted in the taste. Super roasty. Pretty good I would definetly have another.

22, capped. Thanks, BitBucket! Black. Dense, creamy tan head. Solid sheets of lace. Big sour dark roasty coffee nose. Rich, creamy medium body. Active carb. Rich chocolate and coffee on the mid-palate--a coffee bomb, in fact, but very pleasantly so. Light sour coffee finish.

Rich dark chocolate pour with two finger mocha head. Roasted coffee, chocolate and sweetness are in both the nose and flavor. Creamy body and easy to drink...making it the perfect beer to close an evening. Good roastyness.

Its such a pleasure to be able to drink this anytime that I want. I love this beer, and had wanted to try it for a long time, but it was only available in Alaska. Rich and roasted nose, with a bit of burnt coffee notes. The palate has a nice bit of chocolate cocoa dustiness with you guess it that fresh brewed coffee finish, rich and creamy. Robust indeed.

Very dark brown. Extra coffee nose...some earthy free trade single estate microroaster shit. Thick, sugary body...Cuban coffee at the casa particular. Sweet, rich coffee throughout....where’s the porter? Nutty accent in the finish.

bottle from bottletrek (thanks to analisa and the gang).... pours a dark cola brown with reddish brown edges which is then topped off with a thin soapy light brown head that forms more so towards the side of the glass....aroma of chocolate, more so cocoa, and a strong roasted coffee component which is quite nice especially if having in the morning!..... the flavors, though, don’t live up to snuff. more roasted/sour coffee and lively carbonation which took away from it. mouthfeel was also a little too thin as well.....i think this one reminded me a little of peche mortel for some reason.
