Had on tap at brewery - limited editon - aged since 2001. Dark ruby red appearance with a solid mocha colored head. Aroma is like a fruit cocktail with alcohol - enticing. Flavor has some elements of brandy, raisins, dates and a back end of chocolate. Mouthfeel is thick and syrup - like a barley wine should. Excellent - they should keep this recipe around.
