Pours a semi-hazy copper amber colored brew with a long lasting off-white head that leaves behind some sticky lacing. Aroma of toffee and caramel malts, Belgian yeast, a hint of candi sugar and some cotton candy. Taste is medium to full bodied, with flavors of caramel malt, candi sugar, some banana esters, yeast and a touch of raisin. Bottle: The aroma consists plum, raisin, faint chocolate, and candi sugar. It pours a hazy, bordering on cloudy, dark reddish-brown with a moderate off-white head that leaves behind nice lacing. The flavor starts with moderate sweet plum, Belgian yeast, and some faint chocolate in the background. The finish has some raisin and faint spiciness. Medium bodied with lively, but soft, carbonation.
