22oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of grass, pine, floral, and doughy. Tastes of grass, pine, citrus, and dough. Medium alcohol in the finish.

Bottle sampled on 9/15/07: Clear deep golden color with a wispy-lacing full white head. Aroma of sweet earthy grassy grapefruity hops and some musty cheesy caramel malt. Body starts with some sweet pale malt and earthy bittering hops toward a drier bittersweet finish. An interesting imperial pils with some almost cheesy complexity.

Poured a hazy copper color with a white head. Floral and mildly citrus aroma. Some sweaty hop aroma as well. The flavor had a crisp bitterness that ran from the front to the back. Dry finish with a growing bitterness. The beer ended up fairly bitter. Grassy in the middle.

High bitterness, soapy head. OK as a very bitter beer, but nothing I would seek out again.

This bottled brew from a rating party poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy dark yellow-orange colored body and a good lacing. The strong aroma was dirty sock and like vomit. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops and tasted like I had dirty sock with vomit on them in my mouth! Yuck! How did the others stand it? A horrible one that I would rather not drink again. Just can’t ghet past that aroma. It ruined it for me.

Poured a hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus fruits, light pine, and toasted dough. Taste of dry, bready malts, more citrus fruits, a bit more pine, and a sharp, hoppy bitterness, with moderate alcohol as well.

Bottle. Dark yellow, nice head and lace. Starngely the aroma is more yeasty than malty. Flavor is unique as well with fresh hops and what tastes like Munich malts. Too bad this pils is on the sticky, sweet side and not a beer you’d wanna drink a lot of.
