Commercial Description:
Second of the 7 Deadly BeeRs. Envy is the intense desire for others' traits, status, abilities or situation. 63 IBUs
Envy Imperial Pilsner obsessively desires to be better than the world’s most common lager. Envy vies for attention with its beautifully bright, golden color and tightly-formed crown. Intense yet true pilsner malt provides the perfect base for profuse citrus, floral and spicy hop flavor. Envy achieves distinction, making other beers turn green.

This bottled brew from a rating party poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy dark yellow-orange colored body and a good lacing. The strong aroma was dirty sock and like vomit. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops and tasted like I had dirty sock with vomit on them in my mouth! Yuck! How did the others stand it? A horrible one that I would rather not drink again. Just can’t ghet past that aroma. It ruined it for me.

Bottle. Dark yellow, nice head and lace. Starngely the aroma is more yeasty than malty. Flavor is unique as well with fresh hops and what tastes like Munich malts. Too bad this pils is on the sticky, sweet side and not a beer you’d wanna drink a lot of.

22 oz. bottle - pours a cloudy, pale orange with thin white head; aromas of wheat, grass, lemon, fruit and stale malts; flavors are yeasty and malty with grainy aftertaste; slight spice and dry finish; not too bad, just not quite my thing

I thought this was great, always been a big fan of this style. Even if it was a little overhopped, this was still a great thirst quencher, I mean it really hits the spot, and is not overpowered in other areas, and you can really sit down and enjoy it. The nose has a wonderful fresh citrus quality, like cutting into a lemon, but the body is quite aggressive to, and in the end it all comes together.

Hazy yellow with white head. Nose of yeast and malt. Flavor was malty and yeast, with bits of citurs from the hops. Medium body, just didn’t think everything came together with this one. Not my favorite of the sins series.

Bottle courtesy of jsquire at the Fort Wayne Winter Gathering.Small off-whte fizzy head, spotty lacing, hazy, no carbonation observed, and an amber hue. Nose was malt, some citrus and hoppy. Flavor was malty, citrus and hops. Smooth mouthfeel and medium in body.Just an okay beer for me as I didn’t really care for the way the flavors came together or should I say didn’t come together for my liking.
