Commercial Description:
Voluptuous yet elegant, Epluche-culotte Trippel exudes its free spirit with orangey-amber color topped with a creamy white head. The aroma is sweet, spicy and earthy. The addition of Curacao (bitter) orange peel and whole coriander infuse color, citrus and spice while a special Belgian yeast strain imparts other enticing flavors and aromas during fermentation. Bottle conditioning creates the right effervescence for a perfectly heady experience. In the style of a Belgian Trippel, Epluche-culotte is delicious yet spirited. Originally named Extreme Polar White Bier, it got nicknamed "Panty Peeler" . We say it in French: E'pluche-culotte. The joyride awaits.

Bottled 2nd week of December (04?). This was really hard to rate, because I don’t think it is close to much anything within style. However, I found it to be fairly creative and interesting. Poured with a reddish amber-orange color and very nice and well-sustaining creamy white head. Carbonation bubbles steadily rose to the top of the glass. The aroma stunned me with apples, cherries, and grapes coming through (Is this really a tripel?). The flavor had many of the same elements in the background, but was different. Pineapples were pretty strong with vanilla and honey also in the flavor (some pina-colada type tastes). Not overly sweet like some tripels, and the hop finish was there, but not pronounced. The wheat base was rather hidden. Very interesting and enjoyable, but not the poster child for the style.

This is decent, has a very nice honey sweet malt profile, kind of like honey grahams, with some tart fruitiness, kind of apple like, with some pears, and a bit of citrus acidity rounding it out. Some yeasty spiciness on the tail end, and finishes up some what bittersweet, almost sour. Not bad

22oz. bomber thanks to Joeec5. Hazy amber color with a good sized white head. Aroma of caramel, granny smith apples and straw. Sweeter than I normally like a Tripel, but very tasty. A bit of green apple tartness helps cut the sweetness. Some caramel malt and citrus in there as well.

Yellowish with a near green shine; good white fluffy head. Perfumed, Belgian Wyeast N° ZYX nose, spicey, citrus. Phenolic taste, sweet-citrussy, spiced. Burning MF, slick, medium bodied. I’m starting to find these over-heated pseudo-Belgians revolting. A cultbeer based on a label and a funny name?

Bottled. Muddy orange colour, very brief head. Estery pineapple aroma. Sweet and fruity with some citric acidity and strong lemonady orangey notes. Slight almondy yeast character.Too sweet for me to fully appreciate.

Bottle. Tasting session with omhper and ante.!
To me this is a Belgian yeasty, fruity blonde strong beer with a slightly odd sourness on top. And a touch of honey below. Apricot candy fits in right there somewhere in between.

Orange hazy colour. Yeasty and orangey aroma. Dry flavour of oranges and minerals with sweet undertones of apricot. Sweeter finish of marmelade and brown sugar.
