argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Sep 10, 2003 Clear apple juice with medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, apple juice, light grassy. Taste is mild and inoffensive, hint of apple juice, hint of grassy bitter, wheat burp. Light body, fairly carbonated. Designed to not scare off the Bud drinkers, and they'll probably never try it anyhow. wilkie (1189), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Aug 22, 2003 Small head, slightly hazy, light brown color.
Strong honey aroma. More honey in flavor than
wheat. Just about average but nothing special.
Weak, watery finish. aobecksy (661), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA Apr 14, 2003 gold color; great head; smells like honey; taste like honey (and apples) but no wheateyness; clean finish. jsquire (2086), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Apr 13, 2003 Golden yellow out of the bottle with a nice head. Thin malty sweetness with flavors of honey and apple. Okay beer, but probably my least favorite Midnight Sun. Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Oct 8, 2002 Monsterous head and a meaty aroma. Very light and sweet. Very drinkable. One weakness is that’s it a bit thin. Very good overall. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Sep 27, 2002 Golden color, medium head. Mildly hopped, nicely balanced wheat beer. Slight sweetness from the honey. Finish is very clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet, no noticeable honey sweetness. A crisp and light honey wheat beer. Troobie99 (60), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 8, 2002 ’A bit untamed’? Oy. This is a VERY tame beer. A super light beer for the pounding, this has a very lightly wheaty palate, a touch of sweetness, and almost no bitterness. It’s fairly carbonated and seems to evaporate the minute you swallow. Sound familiar? (I don’t think AB’s worried, though.) igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA Apr 18, 2002 very slight head, only a little bit of honey flavor...i was a bit disappointed
