Been sitting on this for a long time. I think it came from DarkElf. Pours mahogany with some floaties and a tan head. Smells of pronounced smoke, some caramel, breaddy, earthy. Tastes of smoke, some caramel, some rosey hints, lots of earthiness on the finish. Great beer!

It’s like drinking a smoked sausage - which is not as bad as it sounds. Pours dark, lots of head, taste is sweetish.

Bottle, from juzy & Timmcd64. Good nose, smokey sweet. Charred wood, maple, caramel. Lost a little as it warmed. Clean brownish orange color, I left small amount in bottle that had sediment. Little to no head, no lace. Sweet flavor. Maple, smoke, peat. ABV still has bite. Medium body, oily slick mouthfeel, Sweet finish. Nice brew, I was surprised at it’s bite. thanks juzy & Timmcd64 for this limited release.

Pours a brown amber hue with a halo of a tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, smoked salmon. Flavors of the same with a light hop bitterness with leather and smoke.

Brown with a small head. Aroma is smoked caramel. Taste is a nice balance of sweetness, smokiness and caramel. Thank god there is a decent hop bite or it would be a sickeningly sweet mess. The only knock is too much caramel to distract from a nice thick smoke taste.

Pours a transparent ruby mahogany with a nice, thin tan head. Sweet, smoky liquid caramel aroma has a nice authentic German bock yeast character. Starts with a sweet viscous dark caramel maltiness and lots of nice smoke notes with an authentic bock flavor. Very nice beer that reminds me a lot of Bells Batch 5000.
