Aroma of light strawberries, tons of bretty/lacto funkiness, floral, dark fruits, toasted malt, vinous, perfume, toffee, raspberry pie, I can’t stop sniffing this one and catching some different every time. Flavor of a light lacto/brett funkiness, berries, toasted malt, some nuts, floral, very dry and very tasty. Hard to put into words, this one is very unique. I had this after an aged Cuvee de Tomme...so these numbers are saying something. wetherel (1641), Encinitas, California, USA

Dark fruits, cherries, strawberries. Some oak in the aroma. Thick body. Excellent. 4.5-4.7. I heard this beer took 7 years to make as it includes a 7yr old strawberry lambic and a 5yr old cherry lambic, and it was one of the most expensive kegs at $200-$300/5gallon. Yow! 2 tickets=$6/4oz taster. Miver (580), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 18, 2009 Draft@ MSBC 08.13/14.2009. Clear ruby red color with a frothy tan head. Nice citrusy lemon, sour cherry aroma with vanilla . First taste is tart lemon and sour cherries, then smooth vanilla and wood which tempers some of the sourness. After a few sips the earthy Cab Sauv kicks in, leading to a dry spicy finish. More rounded and complex now than last year when i first had this. Fantastic aged sour. egajdzis (3640), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a medium and cloudy amberish / brownish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of stawberries, some brett / funkiness, other berries, chocolate, and fruity. Chocolate covered tart berries. Tastes of lighter berries, some funk, lighter chocolate, caramel, and other fruits. Lively body. The tastes more on the subtle side vs. the fantastic aroma. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 19, 2009 Transparent dark copper mahogany pour has a spotty-lacing light tan head. Aroma of sweet dark caramel and fresh tart black cherries with nice oaky complexity. Body starts with good fullness for a sour with the appropriate amount of carbonation, sweet Belgian maltiness, vinous oak and assertive tart fruity notes before a sweet-tart finish. An enjoyable and well-balanced sour ale.
