Draft glass at Cafe Amsterdam. Very light pale yellow with a firm bright white pillowtop. The aroma is banana-cremey and this carries into the drink. Almost Witbier-like, this is a nice light introduction to Midnight Sun’s 7 Deadly Sins. (#3300, 1/20/2008)

On tap at the Midnight Sun tasting room. Pours a hazy golden with a medium creamy white head that left some nice lacing. Aroma of candy sweetness, hoppy, citrus, Belgian yeast and spices. Flavor was grassy, citrus, sweet malts, Belgian yeast and spices.

Poured a hazy, dark golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, coriander, orange peel, and banana as well. Taste of dry, tart, citrus fruits, coriander, bitter orange peel, and a bready, yeasty, finish.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of fruitiness, bananas, spices, and citrus. Tastes of citrus, bananas, yeast, and spices. Very tasty and I could see drinking this one on a daily basis.

Nice bretty aroma, very very horsey and rough. Flavor is super dry, with some thick malts and big bad brett. Surprisingly thick. A very interesting beer. Totally overboard with the brett. Would be interesting in a couple years, although it is already completely dry. If they hit this with some bugs they’d have an absolute winner.

Thanks to TomDecapolis for sharing this... Appears a hazy, semi-transparent, pale gold with a small white cap that fades into a mild film of foam. Tiny remnants are left around the glass. Smell is fruity, banana, pears, light wheat, golden raisins, and citrus. Taste echoes the aromas with light spiciness coming through and keeping things interesting. Mouthfeel is mildly sweet up front, fizzy, spicy with melon and pears lingering during the swallow.
